MATTA UK’s New Videoclip Made by Lebanese Producer, Director and Friend Suzie Selman

I’ve been waiting for this video for weeks, and it’s finally out! Suzie is a good friend of mine and fellow music lover. Matta are an awesome Dubstep duo which were in Lebanon last spring. The two teamed up to create Matta’s new videoclip for “Fade”.

I want to congratulate Suzie on this epic, international production after all her successful previous endeavors in the videography industry. Here’s to many more!

I’ve embedded it above, hope you guys enjoy it! I absolutely love this track! And for those of you wondering who the actress in the clip is, it’s Venus Vania, another very talented friend who works in the fashion and photography business in Lebanon.

AMAZING Video by White About Life and Clubbing in Beirut

Even though I’m upset we didn’t get to see Fedde Le Grand last night because it was a “private” party (apparently sponsored by Pringles =P) and even more upset that I’ll miss the opening for F*** Me I’m Famous tonight, I absolutely loved this video!

It’s a perfect description of what it means to be Lebanese, and more specifically, a Lebanese clubber, in barely over a minute!

YouTube of the Day, Reinstated: The Lonely Island

There are far too many hilarious and cool videos out there, and even though most of us dread watching a video, I can’t but share the ones I stumble upon and fin extremely funny. So, the YouTube of the Day is coming back, joining the likes of Sound Selections and Fail Loubnan =D

These guys are hilarious, with these music videos, a motion picture, and regular appearances on SNL and other shows. Lots of other vids, I recommend “Cool Guys Don’t Look at Explosions” old, but awesome with Will Farell. They also collaborated with Nicki Minaj, Seth Rogan and T-Pain!

YouSoundTube – A Mirage Sneak-Peak

The picture above is of a living deity. His name is Armin van Buuren, and even if you don’t know it, you love him too and his songs were (or still are) your mobile ringtones or alarm songs.

This man has the most successful Radio show on Earth: A State of Trance, which is well on the way to clocking in 500 episodes in early 2011. He has been the world’s number one for 3 years in a row (four hopefully, I already voted on djmag.com, vote if you still haven’t). He releases A State of Trance, Universal Religion, Armind, and his personal albums such as Imagine, and the latest: Mirage. Mirage will be out September 10th.

This man is HUGE, and unlike Tiesto and Paul van Dyk, still has respect among underground electronic music fans, for never compromising the music in order to sell more (which PvD and Tiesto failed in, but Guetta took advantage of to the max – see earlier post on Guetta)

Because I love Armin too much, the sneak-peak will be YouTubes only, not zippyshare links. Maybe later on, after you’ve had a chance to BUY the album, I’ll post the zippy links.

YouTube of the Day – Interstella 5555

Interstella 5555 is a one-hour animated movie that brings Daft Punk’s Discovery album to life in the visual dimension.

Each song is an episode in the movie, where a intersteller pop band is abducted and rescued.

There is no dialogue, just the song lyrics, and very few if any sound effects.

This is a truly amazing movie, and I really do recommend you watch it. I’m not sure if any other music album was visually realized into an animated movie, so, correct me if I’m wrong when I say this is a one-of-a-kind deal (Mama-mia doesn’t count)
